The Oiasso Roman Museum,
in collaboration with ARKEOLAN, presented the
7th INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL CINEMA OF BIDASOA,
2007 organized by the City council of Irun (www.irun.org),
that was celebrated days
19, 17, 18, 19
and 20 of
October of 2007. The Festival must like objective
present archaeology the public in general, by means of
the audio-visual work diffusion result of the works of
the archaeologists, assuring the promotion and spreading
these works.

Prizes 2007
Grand Prize of the Festival:
"Loulan: the sleeping
princesses", directed by Serge
Tignères and produced by por Gedeon Programmes.
Special Audience Prize:
"The lost ship of
Venice", directed by Maurice Ribièreand Marco
Visalberghi and produced by La Compagnie des Taxi-brousse.
Arkeolan Prize for Contribution to Science:
"The canoes from the
Iron Age", directed by Pascal Magontier and produced by
ADDC Archéolud.
Special mention of the Jury:
"The Amphora of Eleusis",
directed and produced by Eleni Stoumbou, and "In transit",directed
by Greg Bailey and produced by
Bristol University.
